The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for Katie Beckett Special Medicaid Eligibility Verification Function and Children’s Long-Term Support Consolidated Intake Functions and is intended for use by the State as represented by the Department of Health Services to award a contract for those services. The Katie Beckett Program special Medicaid eligibility reduces institutionalization of children with severe disabilities by permitting children that meet specific eligibility criteria to access medically necessary services in their home and community, without regard to parental income and assets.
