Scope:

This is a mandatory contract for all state agencies, including University of Wisconsin System campuses, for the purpose of purchasing maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies within the four following categories.

CATEGORIES:
• Electrical Supplies: wiring, fuses, ballasts, light bulbs …
• HVAC Supplies: air conditioners, air filters, ducting, furnaces …
• Industrial Supplies: fasteners, hand tools, storage equipment …
• Plumbing Supplies: water heaters, sinks, faucets, valves, piping …

VENDORS BY CATEGORY:
• Electrical Supplies: Neher Electric and Grainger
• HVAC Supplies: MSC Industrial and Grainger
• Industrial Supplies: Hagemeyer North America and MSC Industrial and Grainger
• Plumbing Supplies: Columbia Pipe & Supply and First Supply

PRICING TIERS:
Each vendor will provide three levels or TIERS to buy product from:
• TIER 1 Fixed price contract items.
• TIER 2 Percent discount off specific manufacturer’s catalog.
• TIER 3 Percent discount off vendor’s full catalog.

(NOTE: Authorized users can purchase from all three TIERS.)


ITEMS NOT ON THIS CONTRACT:
• Janitorial Supplies (15-48500-501) including cleaning supplies and equipment, floor care chemicals and cleaning chemicals.
• Signage contract (15-80176-501) including nameplates and badges, message boards, interior signage, magnetic sheeting and more.

The following (14- prefix) are mandatory work center contracts:
• Floor Pads for Cleaning Machines (14-44357-300)
• Mops: Wet, Disposable Dust Mops (14-44413-911)
• Brushes and Brooms (14-44427-200)
• Mop, Dust Oil Treatment (14-44430-701)

WORK CENTER POLICY:
. The State Use Law requires agencies to procure needed materials, supplies, equipment or services from certified Work Centers. The agency may direct questions regarding the State Use Program to the Director at 608-266-5462.

BUYING OFF CONTRACT:
Authorized users will be able to buy product from off-contract vendors for purchases that total under $100.
