Scope:

This contract is for the puchase of Intel compatible computers and has multiple vendors representing multiple manufacturers. It includes the following models:
„X Standard Business Class Desktop
„X High-End Workstation
„X Standard Business Class Laptop
„X Lightweight Laptop
„X High-End Laptop
„X Tablet

Memory, optical drive, and hard drive upgrades are available through this contract as well as services such as imaging, installation, additional 4 year warranties and asset tagging.
The following manufacturers are available:

It is expected that the computers specified on this contract should meet 95% of the state¡¦s computing needs, however, a ¡§Business Case Exception¡¨ process is available if this configuration does not meet the needs of specialized applications.

Monitors and value added services are available through this contract.

Leasing is available through all of the vendors on the contract.

End of life recycling of computer components is available through this contract. All of the vendors with the exception of Dell are offering this service through Cascade Asset Management (MBE). In order to use the PC contractor for the recycling of existing hardware the agency must be purchasing replacement equipment through the contractor. If the agency is not purchasing replacement equipment then the agency must use another option such as SWAP to dispose of any surplus hardware.
