- Scope:
- This contract has been established to provide emergency response services for the discharge of materials posing threats to health, safety, welfare and the environment in various regions throughout the state. For purposes of the contract the state was divided into six zones.
A primary award has been made to the low cost proposer to provide services to all six zones of the state. A secondary award has been also been made for a second vendor to provide services to two zones of the state only on an as needed basis. Where the two awarded vendors overlap their service areas, users are directed to use the vendor who best meets their needs for the emergency in question.
The contract has been established based on WI Dept of Natural Resources requirements but is available for use by any state agency or educational institution or other unit of government.
Included as attachments are the original RFP that serves as the basis of the contract, the prices for each of the awarded vendors and copies of the contracts that were signed along with maps that show the areas of the state each vendor covers. The primary awarded vendor has three maps; one for a two-hour response time, a second for a three-hour response time and a third that shows the four-hour response time area.
