Commodity Code Searches
This document details the procedure for looking up commodity code descriptions.
- Click on the Commodity Codes button in the navigation bar at the bottom of any VendorNet page.
- To search for a commodity code using a keyword.
- Enter a keyword in the text box and click on search. VendorNet will return a list of 5 digit commodity codes with their corresponding descriptions.
- To view a list of high-level commodity codes with corresponding descriptions click on View/Select Commodity Codes.
- Click on a box to view a commodity's subcategories. You may select as many boxes as you like.
- Click Display Selections. VendorNet will return a list of the commodity sub-categories.
(Use your browser's back button to return to the page where a commodity code was required and enter it accordingly.)
